I Stand Alone...

Knowing too well what I had, I through it all away. Like the seasons that
come and go as quickly as life does. Time passes and you feel alone. So
alone, you feel as if time won't change that lonely soul. Where's the
laughter, or the joy of life? I feel as if my inner-self has disappeared into
the shadows of night. People say it wasn't meant to be, and that there is
someone better out there in that strange world. I guess all I can do for the
time being is to have faith in that and bounce back. Until then, I stand
alone.
